Healthy Self-Care Strategies

As expressed in Competency Statement #27, the dental school believes that good self-care strategies and general wellness benefit you in school, in practice, and in life. Specifically, your Dugoni faculty are committed to helping you gain the ability to:

Demonstrate healthy coping and self-care strategies, defined as activities and practices that are engaged in regularly that aim to reduce stress and to maintain and enhance health and well-being. Prioritizing emotional, physical, intellectual, occupational and environmental wellness is necessary to honor professional and personal commitments. Healthy self-care includes a realization of when to reach out for help or support.

Faculty Tutoring (drop-in on Tuesdays only, no fee)

IPS tutoring — 2:00-5:00 pm, Simulation Clinic
BMS tutoring — 2:00-5:00 pm, Room 429
