The goal of our strategic plan, Advancing Greatness, is to provide the road map to move the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry to even higher levels of national and international prominence. Under the guidance of Dr. Alan Gluskin ’72, a writing group developed a document that is succinct and focused, while allowing the flexibility to respond to environmental changes during the coming years. The group collected feedback from the dental school community through town hall meetings and online surveys.
Analyzing and reflecting on our internal strengths and weakness, as well as our traditions and legacies allowed us to identify six important strategic directions. Dr. Karl Haden, founder and president of the Academy for Academic Leadership, is currently leading a dental school team to implement these strategic directions. It will provide a strong roadmap which will keep our school at the forefront of dental education.
