University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry has provided quality orthodontic care to Bay Area residents of all ages for more than 30 years in our Orthodontic Clinic.
We are committed to caring for you and achieving the finest orthodontic result whether the problem is slight or severe. We welcome the opportunity to work with you to create a happier and healthier smile to last a lifetime.
Services
Care is provided by dentists who are completing their advanced training in orthodontics and under the supervision of Board Certified Orthodontists. We also have a private practice with our full-time faculty for patients wishing to be treated in a private practice setting.
Our treatment recommendation and the treatment fee will be explained at your first visit. If treatment is suggested, a comprehensive diagnosis will be made after complete orthodontic records, including X-rays, photos, and models are taken.
Specialists from our other school clinics are also available for consultation and care, including general dentistry, children’s dentistry, oral surgery, and facial pain (TMJ).

Fee and Payment Policy
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established the following policies:
- Our fees include a substantial educational discount which generally costs 30% less than the usual private practice fees in the Bay Area.
- If full payment is made at the beginning of treatment, we will offer a fee discount. If you have orthodontic insurance, the discount is for your portion of the fee that will not be covered by the orthodontic coverage.
- To fit the needs of our patients, a financial arrangement can be made to extend your payments over a period of months following an appropriate down payment.
- We work with Denti-Cal and California Children Services (CCS), state programs for low-income families and children with special needs.
- For your convenience, we accept private insurance, VISA, MasterCard and offer flexible payment plans.
