Graduate dentists provide dental care for patients who
are age 14 or older and have simple or complex dental needs. In
addition, care is also provided for special patients who have developmental
disabilities and patients who are medically compromised or elderly.
The Advanced General Dentistry Clinic (AGD Clinic) provides a broad
range of dental services. Dental care is provided by resident dentists who have
recently graduated and are pursuing an advanced education in general dentistry.
Specialists are available for consultation and treatment of more complex problems in
other areas: cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), implants, orthodontics
(braces), oral-maxillofacial surgery (extractions), pediatric dentistry for children,
periodontics (gums) and prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, partials and dentures). If
required, dental care can be provided in a hospital setting.

How to become a patient
We welcome you as a new patient and would like the opportunity to
provide you with the best possible dental care. We see all new patients on an appointment
basis and request that you call in advance, so we can reserve a convenient time for you.
You may call the AGD Clinic at (415) 929-6675 to set up an appointment.
At your first visit, a thorough examination will be performed and
radiographs (x-rays) will be taken as needed. An accurate assessment of your general
health status and your mouth, teeth and gums will allow us to determine your dental needs
and discuss treatment options with you. We will then be able to plan financial
arrangements and help you maximize any insurance benefits you may have.
Fees and Payment Plans
The Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry offers comprehensive and quality dental care
at reasonable prices. Our fees are up to 40% less than the average private dental office
in the Bay Area. We accept most dental insurance plans including Denti-Cal, Medi-Cal and
private insurance as well as cash, check, VISA and Mastercard. Flexible payment options
are available for those who are eligible and may be discussed with one of our financial
coordinators. |
