Taught by Robert Ahlstrom, DDS and John Boghossian, DDS, this two-day course combines lectures, clinical demonstrations and implant placement on live patients with clear accessible instruction and laboratory hands-on training. Live demonstration of imaging techniques will be utilized (volumetric CT scans). Enrollment is limited to ten participants to insure a high faculty-to-student ratio.

You Will Learn

  • How to place implants in artificial mandibles
  • How to make implant impressions on typodonts

You will also be observing placement and restoration of implants on live clinic patients requiring treatments. Lecture material will cover patient selection and treatment planning guidelines for the general dentist in private practice.
