Dr. Alan H. Gluskin has been a full-time faculty member at the dental school for nearly three decades. A 1972 graduate of the dental school, Gluskin received his endodontic certification from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1976.
Gluskin is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, where he recently served on the Educational Affairs and Research and Scientific Affairs committees. He also recently led a committee to develop the dental school's new strategic plan, Advancing Greatness.
Gluskin serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Endodontics, the International Journal of Endodontics and the Journal of the California Dental Association. He is co-editor of the textbook Decision Making in Dental Treatment Planning and contributed to the sixth edition of Ingle's Endodontics.
His current areas of interest include endodontic file design, technical mishaps and intraradicular resin bonding of structurally weakened teeth.
